Two Sisters House, Port Henderson
The photograph of the Two Sisters House from the article in 1893 is very handsome; unfortunately I haven't yet found anything to equal it for any more recent date. The drawing from 1965 comes from an advertisement lauding the use of Wolmanised lumber in the restoration work at Port Henderson. The photo of the ruins left after the fire, of which I have found no account so far, comes from the site of the Jamaican artist Bernard Hoyes, who used the building as a studio, I think in the 1980s. He has kindly said he will also have a look to see what other photos he may have.
I must contact my friends at the NLJ to see if they can find any photos etc.
