1956 Jeffrey-Smith 135, The Bridled Tern (Sterna anaethetus) and the Sooty Tern (Sterna fuscata) as well as the Noddy (Anous stolidus) are known as “booby birds”. Their eggs are gathered by the thousand from the cays off the mainland . . . and brought to Kingston for sale on the streets.
